Course
All start from the New York Life Parking Lot
The 5k Run / Walk—will be flat and follow the Greenbelt.
Kid’s 1 Mile Fun Run—flat (with a staffed double-crossing at River Street)
PARKING
Free Parking is available at the CarPark Lot on the Corner of Myrtle and 11th (the dirt lot). The New York Life Parking lot will be blocked off for the event.
Awards
The Awards Ceremony will be held in front of the Fountain at the New York Life Building immediately after all races are complete.
Prizes will be awarded in the following categories
Kid’s 1 mile fun run—All participants will receive a ribbon and staged photo line finish opportunity;
Individual 5k Run and Individual 5k Walk—
Top three overall women and men receive awards
Top three finishers in each age group receive ribbons - Age groups: 13 & under; 14-19; 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over.
Post Race events
Lots of fun LIFE activities are planned during and after the race; including a free child identification safety kit provided by Idaho Masonic Family Alliance—Grand Lodge of Idaho and Oriental 60 as well as a FREE BBQ from 11:00 am—1:00 pm
Entry Fee (through July 27, 2009)
Kid’s 1 mile fun run $15.00 per person
Individual 5K Run / Walk $25.00 per person
Group Registration 5K Run / Walk
(4 or more individuals) $20.00 per person
Late Entry Fee (starting July 28, 2009)
Starting July 28, 2009 please add
$5.00 per person to the 5K Run / Walk fees
